About Kingdom Koffee
Kingdom Koffee opened on College Hill after sixteen years of the Kalashnikov family calling Eugene home. It’s the first shop they’ve owned, started by local photographer Jessica Kalashnikov.

Jessica photographed Eugene for years before opening Kingdom Koffee with her family. Sixteen years in this city led to a shop of their own on College Hill.
The shop took over the former Off the Waffle space on South Willamette Street, in the same small plaza as Metropol Bakery, a short walk from Jade Dumpling & Noodle House and Wingstop.
Deep purple and brass
Deep purple walls, brass pendant lights, and a lion portrait keeping watch over the drink station. The dining room doesn’t look like every other coffee shop on the block.
What’s on the counter
Espresso, tea, and hand-folded piroshki. The sausage-and-mushroom and beef-and-cheddar hand pies nod to the family’s Russian roots.
Why we’re here
A room built for lingering. Journals, puzzles, and games are always out for anyone who wants to stay a while.
Tea, hot or iced
A rotating selection, poured under the lion portrait that watches over the room from the purple wall.
The shop’s own mark
A coffee cup, rising steam, and a bird inside a wreathed circle. It’s painted on the wall, and it’s the same crest that marks the shop everywhere else.
Stay a while
Open Tuesday through Sunday. Pull up a seat and take as long as you like.
